How to book a spot?

Book your spot in four easy steps:

  • Choose which camping site to visit
  • Choose a spot and the duration of your stay
  • Choose extras such as cancellation insurance and electricity
  • Pay through our secure payment gateway

Once the reservation and payment are completed you will receive a confirmation email. It helps you to remember your reservation and to find your spot upon arrival. You can view your upcoming bookings on the My bookings-page at any time.

Can I book with arrival today?

Yes, you can book up until 10:00 AM local marina time with arrival the same day. If your arrival is not today you’re free to place your booking at any hour, day or night. Unbooked spots are handled by the camping site manager and are used as drop-in pitches.

Can I pay on arrival?

Several camping sites offer payment through Campingspot. In order to pay for a spot you’re already arrived at please visit the camping site’s page on and choose "Pay". From there you can pay just as you would with a booking, independently of what time it is. Remember that you must have already arrived at the spot you’re paying for before paying.

What happens if my payment doesn’t go through?

When you click Proceed to payment, the system automatically reserves your chosen spot and waits for a signal that the payment is successful. If the payment does not go through, the spot will be made available to other guests after 30 minutes. If you experience difficulties while paying please check that your card is valid for online purchases. You might need an authenticate against your bank, or you might need to enable your card for foreign charges. If you are still experiencing problems please contact our support!

When do I need to checkout from my spot?

Checkout must be completed by 12:00 PM (noon in the camping site’s local time zone) or sooner. Please speak to the camping site manager if you need to stay longer. They can help you find another spot.

What time can I arrive?

Whenever you want after 12:00 PM (noon) in the camping site’s local time zone. Remember that you’re required to contact the camping site if you’ll be arriving later than 6 PM. You can find contact details to the camping site in the booking confirmation email and on the My bookings-page.

Is it possible to change or cancel my booking?

Yes it is. Sometimes you need to book well in advance and it can be hard to know the exact arrival, and of course the weather plays a part. While booking your berth you will get an option to purchase a possibility to change or cancel your booking. If you purchase the cancellation insurance, the cancellation must be made before 12 PM (noon in the camping site’s local time) the day before arrival.

Is there a Campingspot app?

We’ve designed to work great on your mobile phone browser, on both Android and iOS.

Why do I need to sign up?

You need to register some details such as verhicle model and contact information in order for the camping site to safely serve you during your stay. By saving these details it’s easier to make new bookings without needing to re-enter them every time.
