Placing your booking on Campingspot means that your stay is paid for before you arrive at the campsite. You do not need to visit the camping site reception to pay the rental, the camping site manager can see that the right verhicle is checked in at the right spot without the need of any physical contact.
When you arrive we recommend that you observe WHO’s and local authorities’ latest safety recommendations by e.g. keeping distance and washing your hands.
What is Campingspot doing to make my visit as safe as possible?
We’re supporting the camping sites by relaying information between the camping site and its Campingspot guests. This allows us to quickly reach out with local information before and during your stay. We’ll also help you by answering any questions you might have about your destination.
What are the camping sites doing?
We have informed all camping sites to not meet you in person, unless you’ve specifically asked to be greeted in person. In addition we’ve sent out information from local authorities regarding safety precautions such as washing your hands and avoiding social interactions.
What happens if a camping site closes?
We have not received any information of any plans by any camping site to close down. If a camping site closes we’ll immediately stop new bookings. We’ll also contact any guests that have existing bookings during the affected period with information on how the camping site will compensate you.
What happens if I’m feeling ill?
WHO recommends anyone with symptoms to stay isolated from other people. If you’re experiencing symptoms it’s extra important to stay current with WHO’s and local authorite’s latest recommendations Please get in touch if you need help to cancel or change your booking.
Should I buy cancellation insurance for my next booking?
We always recommend that you book your stay with cancellation insurance, especially during the current situation. When you book with cancellation insurance you can cancel or change your booking until noon the day before arrival. When doing so you don’t have to explain why you want to cancel or reschedule your booking.
