Böda Hamn

Welcome to Böda Hamn!
An active fishing harbour on the east coast of northern Öland. Here you can enjoy the sea and the fresh air and not least the beautiful surroundings. Along the southern quay is the fishing huts, if you go to the far end of the pier you have a fantastic view towards the harbour and out over the Baltic Sea. You can take a stroll along the beach or into the forest or perhaps to the old Böda Harbour a bit north of the current harbour. If you like an early morning swim there is a ladder for easy access to a quick and nice dip on the northern pier and south of the harbour there is a lovely sandy beach. You will find restaurants, a smokehouse, a pub and fresh fish, and more in the harbour. Next to the fish shop, there is a permanent exhibition about the shipwreck Mars. The project is ongoing with discoveries and you can take part in a very interesting piece of history.

At Böda Hamns camping there is a well-stocked service shop. ICA Nära Böda is within walking distance a bit north of the village if you want a larger selection. Along road 136 there is a bus stop where you will find bus routes both north and south.

The area around Böda offers many great experiences with hiking and biking trails, interesting excursion destinations and much more. All information about this can be found in the harbour and the harbour office.
