Böda Harbour is an active fishing harbour on the eastern coast of northern Öland, with a large and spacious area for motorhomes. Here, you can enjoy nature, the fresh sea air and beautiful views. A walk around the harbour can be as short or as long as you like, both in time and distance. Along the southern quay you’ll find traditional fishermen’s huts. Walk all the way out to the pier for a fantastic view of the harbour and out across the Baltic Sea. If you feel like taking a longer walk, you can explore along the beach, head into the forest or walk north towards the old Böda Harbour.

Fancy a morning swim? There is a bathing ladder on the northern pier where you can enjoy a refreshing dip, and just south of the harbour you’ll find a lovely sandy beach.

The harbour offers restaurants, a smokehouse, a pub, fresh fish and more. Next to the fish shop, there is a permanent exhibition about the shipwreck Mars, which lies off the coast of Böda. The project is ongoing, with new discoveries being made, offering visitors the chance to learn about a fascinating piece of history.

At Böda Harbour Camping, you’ll find a well-stocked convenience shop. For a wider selection, ICA Nära Böda is within walking distance, a little further north in the village. There is a bus stop along Route 136, with services running both north and south. The area around Böda offers many wonderful experiences, including hiking and cycling trails, interesting places to visit and much more.
