A natural choice if you want to experience a unique environment, a rich animal and plant life and swimming in the summer. When hunger hits, you eat your lunch at Gripen on Fiskarvägen or take it with you on your picnic.
Klagshamns Harbor is located in a nature/protection area, beautifully and naturally located between Limhamn and Falsterbokanalen. A popular resting place for both migratory birds and boaters from near and far. The plant life, as well as the animal life, on Klagshamn's headland is well worth investigating. Among other things, there is an orchid here that is unique enough to be known colloquially as the Klagshamn orchid. The intention was to facilitate shipping of the limestone that was quarried in the nearby limestone quarry to processing facilities elsewhere. The port of Klagshamn has also played a strategic role in our coastal defense.
